Instead, the USDA and the FDA in the States have decided that profit is far more important to them than your health -- or your life. What starts in the US usually spreads to the rest of the world very quickly. What we have here are your government, commercial conglomerates and their respective oficials ensuring that you do not get the vitamins and minerals from fresh food.
